May Bank Holiday

Finally! Spring has finally arrived in London!!!

The long weekend started with the wonderful temperature of 20 degrees C!! The sun was shining and the beautiful London day was beckoning us to come out of our winter blues.

Saturday, May 3- Portobello Market

Mike and I went out to Portebello Market (the site of the famous movie Nottinghill). We eat churros and paella (from these huge pans!). Mike was so impressed by the wares at Portobello Market! I am so happy he enjoyed himself and saw London from a different perspective.


Went to anticipated Mass.

In the evening, we went to have dinner with my former Oxford classmates at Chalk Farm Road, which was only 15 minutes from our flat! We ate at Belgos Nord and had their specialty yummy mussels!

Sunday, May 4 - Regent's Park

Mike and I decided to check out one of the biggest parks in London- oh gosh! it was sooo huge. I got so tired walking we didn't get to go through the whole park. Anyway, we're saving the rest for a better sunny day. Today was cloudy, but it wasn't cold and it wasn't raining-which is a a GOOD day in London. Trust me...




Now, I remember why I LOVE LONDON !!!!
